Permaculture is much more than a farming technique: it's a philosophy of life , a design system, and a powerful tool for living in harmony with the earth. Its main goal is to create sustainable spaces—whether a garden, a vegetable patch, a home, or even a community—where every element serves a purpose, supports the others, and generates well-being for all.
In a world where environmental degradation, overuse of resources and disconnection from nature are increasingly visible, permaculture emerges as a real, practical and profoundly transformative alternative.
🌿 What is permaculture?
The word permaculture comes from “permanent agriculture” and “permanent culture.” It was developed by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren and is based on ethical and ecological design principles.
Its essence lies in working with nature, not against it , observing and understanding natural processes to create productive, resilient, and regenerative systems.
đź’š The three ethical pillars of permaculture
-
Earth Care
Protect the soil, water, plants, animals and all ecosystems that make life possible. -
Care of People
Design spaces and practices that promote health, well-being, and safety for communities. -
Fair Distribution
Sharing resources, reducing excessive consumption, and managing surpluses equitably.
